Between the Holidays Community Celebration!

The snow was falling, a bonfire roared and music was playing as residents and visitors gathered at the Boulder Junction Winter Park for a magical evening at the Between the Holidays Community Celebration on Wednesday, December 28.

Nearly 200 individuals attended the event that was presented by the Boulder Junction Community Foundation in conjunction with the Boulder Junction Lioness, Boulder Junction Lions, Boulder Junction Public Library, Boulder Junction Volunteer Fire Department, Boulder Junction Snowmobile Club and the Town of Boulder Junction.

Highlights of the evening included families skating on the smooth as can be regulation sized ice skating rink, children waiting in line to be next on the adventurous sledding hill, smores being roasted over an open fire, hot coffee donated by Northern Lattes, hot dogs served by inviting Lioness volunteers behind the counter of the picnic shelter, petting soft and sweet sled dog Chewy of M.J. Sloane’s Two Moons Kennels, caroling during sleigh rides around the 1-mile snowshoe loop and finishing the evening with a bang up fireworks display.
